Your mission: Should you decide to accept it… As our Stock Manager, you’ll be the backbone of our behind-the-scenes operation — managing deliveries, tracking inventory, and ensuring every outlet has exactly what it needs, when it needs it. From spotless storerooms to spot-on stock levels, you’ll help keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.

The Details: What exactly you will be doing…

  • Receiving all goods per scheduled orders and verifying against purchase orders via Procure Wizard (or similar systems).
  • Placing orders based on outlet requests, current stock levels, and budget requirements.
  • Conducting regular stocktakes and assisting with external audits.
  • Maintaining accurate stock control — logging all movement of goods in and out.
  • Managing bar sundries (fruit, ice, juices) with attention to quality and minimal waste.
  • Performing temperature checks and ensuring compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
  • Liaising with suppliers and departments to resolve discrepancies, returns, or credit notes.
  • Supporting finance with invoice reconciliation and documentation.
  • Acting as key holder for storerooms and cellars, maintaining security and compliance.
  • Keeping all back-of-house areas immaculate, including cellars, dry stores, and cold storage.
  • Ordering and replenishing cleaning and consumable supplies.
  • Upholding hygiene and manual handling standards across the team.
  • Collaborating with operational teams for forecasts, events, and last-minute requests.
  • Providing clear communication on stock availability and offering guidance to outlet managers on order efficiency and budget alignment.

Must-haves:

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a similar stock, cellar, or goods receiving role — ideally within hospitality.
  • Experience with stock control systems (e.g., ProcureWizard).
  • Knowledge of HACCP, food hygiene, and health & safety practices.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Flexibility to work shifts across a 6-day operation.
  • Physical ability to lift and move stock safely and efficiently.
