Your mission: Love good food, great people, and a lively atmosphere? We’re looking for friendly, hardworking servers to join our fun Italian restaurant, Eve. No two days are ever the same here — our space hosts a variety of events, parties, and hotel guests, making every shift exciting and unique. If you bring a positive attitude and enjoy keeping busy in a dynamic setting, you’ll fit right in!
The Details:
- Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly, attentive dining experience
- Present menus, answer questions about food and beverages, and make recommendations
- Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure order accuracy
- Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables, reset them quickly, and maintain a clean dining area
- Handle guest payments (cash and card) accurately and responsibly
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate orders
- Assist with setting up and closing down the restaurant each shift
- Support team members during busy periods and help create a positive, welcoming environment
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines
- Participate in restaurant events and special functions as needed

- Previous serving experience is a plus, but not required

- Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the United Kingdom
- Ability to work on-site at Virgin Hotels Edinburgh for every shift
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including on weekends and holidays
