Your mission:
As our Digital Marketing Executive, you’ll be supporting the Director of Marketing across digital, social, content, and on-property marketing activity. The role is ideal for someone creative, proactive, and highly organised, with a passion for hospitality and storytelling.
The Details:
What exactly you will be doing… Your day-to-day will include:
- Social Media & Content
- Work with the Director of Marketing and external agency to plan and deliver monthly social media calendars across hotel and F&B channels.
- Create engaging in-house photo and video content for social campaigns and day-to-day storytelling around the hotel and neighbourhood.
- Support community management by responding to guest comments, messages, and reviews across social and review platforms in the Virgin Hotels tone of voice.
- Website, Digital & Email
- Manage day-to-day content updates for the hotel website and individual property pages, ensuring accuracy and brand alignment.
- Maintain content across third-party digital listings to ensure consistency and quality.
- Coordinate monthly hotel and F&B email communications, including database management and segmentation in booking platforms.
- Print, Brand & Platforms
- Support the creation and updating of on-property digital and print collateral, menus, and sales materials using Canva and briefing external graphic and print suppliers.
- Manage content across key platforms including SKChase, SevenRooms, OpenTable, Obvlo and Itison to maximise visibility and guest engagement.
- Review creative output with the Director of Marketing to ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines.
- Analytics, Collaboration & Events
- Monitor performance across social, email, and website channels, sharing insights and learnings with the Director of Marketing.
- Build strong working relationships across F&B, events, sales, and front-of-house teams to identify storytelling opportunities.
- Assist with the planning and promotion of on-site events and activations, attending regular marketing and F&B meetings.

Must-haves:
- Relevant qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or related discipline.
- 3+ years’ professional experience in marketing and digital content creation.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills (photo/video a plus).
- Comfortable with CMS platforms, email marketing tools, and Canva.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
