Hours:37.5, Monday to Friday
Contract:Permanent
Location:Hybrid – 3 days a week at either our Cargo Facility at DCE (London Heathrow) or VHQ (Crawley). Thursdays at DCE are required.

As ourSales Performance & Operations Manager, you’ll be the engine behind Virgin Atlantic Cargo’s global sales success. This role is all about enabling our sales teams to exceed their commercial goals through smart tools, strategic processes, and operational discipline.
You’ll lead the design and delivery of performance initiatives, manage CRM adoption, and ensure our sales reporting and incentive programs are aligned with business objectives. If you’re a commercially minded organiser with a passion for data, systems, and people, this is your chance to make a big impact.
  • Manage sales team performance metrics and dashboards to provide real-time visibility and actionable insights.
  • Drive Salesforce CRM adoption and process compliance across the global sales organisation.
  • Coordinate the implementation of sales strategies and initiatives, ensuring regional alignment.
  • Develop and maintain sales reporting for leadership and frontline teams to support decision-making.
  • Design and support the delivery of a structured sales training plan.
  • Administer global cargo sales incentive programs, ensuring timely delivery and accurate year-end payouts

  • Proven experience in the air cargo or logistics industry, ideally in a commercial, operations, or performance-focused role.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and data-driven performance tracking.
  • Project management experience with a track record of implementing commercial programs.
  • Exceptional planning, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and reporting tools (Excel, PowerPoint, BI dashboards).
