Location: Hybrid - VHQ, Crawley
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday
On Call (1 weekend in 4)
Contract: 12 month fixed term contract

•Develop and deliver compelling consumer and corporate stories across all PR channels.
•Collaborate across marketing, social, and internal communications to deliver integrated campaigns.
•Create strong written content including press releases, thought leadership pieces, and media statements.
•Support crisis communication efforts, working closely with senior leadership and our Crisis Communications team.
•Act as a trusted advisor to the business on sensitive issues and potential risks to reputation.
•Support the press office with out of hours on-call responsibilities and urgent media responses.
•Build relationships with key external stakeholders to enhance preparedness and crisis response capabilities.
•Host media FAM trips and represent the brand in direct press engagement.
•Support media training initiatives to prepare leaders for crisis scenarios.
•Track and report on PR and campaign effectiveness, including crisis response outcomes.
We’re seeking someone who combines strategic thinking with flawless execution.
•Degree-educated
•Proven experience in PR and communications, preferably in-house.
•Experience in crisis communication, with a track record of managing sensitive or high-stakes situations.
•Outstanding writing and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information quickly.
•An excellent project manager who thrives under pressure and works calmly in time-sensitive environments.
•A confident communicator with strong networks and a collaborative mindset.
