We’re now looking for a talented legal professional to join our General Counsel’s Office as a Manager Legal Counsel – Company Commercial. If you’re ready to bring your legal expertise into a fast-paced, commercially driven environment, this could be your next great move.
In a nutshell
As Manager Legal Counsel – Company Commercial, you’ll provide timely, pragmatic, and commercially aligned legal support across a wide range of day-to-day matters. You’ll be a trusted legal partner to the business, helping teams navigate risk, negotiate contracts, and make sound decisions that align with our goals and values.
Reporting to the Senior Manager/Associate General Counsel, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to support operations, governance, and strategic initiatives – all while ensuring we stay compliant and commercially sharp.
Day to day
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements and standard terms.
- Provide clear, practical legal advice to business teams, helping them manage risk and deliver results.
- Support internal governance and compliance processes, ensuring proper approvals and documentation.
- Contribute to strategic and tactical initiatives across corporate, company, and commercial activities.
- Act as a trusted adviser, influencing decisions through pragmatic legal guidance.
- Help drive continuous improvement within the legal team through knowledge sharing and template development.
About you
You’re a qualified solicitor (UK or equivalent) with a strong academic background and 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally gained in a top-tier law firm or in-house legal team. You bring a solid foundation in commercial contracts and business advisory work, and you’re known for your initiative, commercial awareness, and collaborative mindset.
You’ll also bring:

- The ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-lawyers.
