- Ensure the VAA Cabin performance standards are upheld at all times.
- Work independently, certifying your own work within the scope of your approvals.

- Ensure all maintenance activities meet required airworthiness standards and Virgin Atlantic procedures.
- Accurately complete computer-based maintenance records, logbooks, and associated documentation.
- Apply sound engineering judgement and communicate clearly with supervisors and engineering colleagues.
- Comply fully with Health & Safety requirements, including the use of PPE and good housekeeping practices.
- Participate in performance reviews, technical training, and refresher programmes.
- Take ownership of cost control, waste reduction, and efficient working practices.
- Maintain compliance with CAA regulations, company procedures, and airport requirements at all times.
About You: We’re looking for someone with a strong aircraft engineering background, who takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance in a safety-critical environment. You’ll bring:
- Holds a UK CAA CAT’A’ License.
- Full and clean UK driving License.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within engineering teams.
- Proven adaptability to changing operational demands and working environments.
- An in-depth understanding of Health & Safety requirements and safe working practices.
- Working knowledge of relevant company IT and maintenance record systems.
- Experience and technical knowledge of related aircraft systems sufficient to determine airworthiness.
In addition to the above, we’d love for our successful Cabin Technician to demonstrate:
- A recognised Aeronautical apprenticeship (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Hands-on aircraft Cabin maintenance experience with strong practical engineering skills.
- Knowledge of Virgin Atlantic fleet aircraft or similar complex aircraft environments.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently when required.
