Our Engineering team is made up of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well maintained and ready to get our customers to their chosen destinations.
In this role you will ensure ground equipment is cleaned, serviced, and inspected in accordance with the Technical Preventative Maintenance processes, both in hangar and line arenas.
Day to day:
- Carry out the safe towing and movement of VAA aircraft between the terminal and hangar to maintain the on-time departures of our flying operation.
- Correct positioning of ground equipment, maintaining vehicles and ensuring the Hangar is tidy conforming to the 5S strategy.
- Assist with the ad hoc collection of aircraft spares and tooling as required.
- Perform routine maintenance of vehicles including regular checking/replenishment of fluid and oil levels.
- Transportation of Nitrogen/Oxygen bottles for re-changing.
- Assist the Aircraft Maintenance Engineers in basic fully supervised Aircraft maintenance tasks.

- Full knowledge of the airside/driving rules at Heathrow Airport. (Full UK driver’s license required)
- The 4 x 4 Shift is critical to the operation, this is 2 days, 2 Nights Shift Pattern.
