Location: London Heathrow Airport, Hounslow, UK

Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours per week, 4 on 2 off shifts) or Part Time (18.5 hours per week, 3 on 3 off shifts)

Shifts: Monday - Sunday, various shifts from 05:00 - 23:00 (including Bank Holidays)

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Full Time (£26,881), Part Time (£13,261) plus shift pay and excellent benefits, including staff travel

At Virgin Atlantic, we’re looking for passionate Bartenders and/or Baristas to join our iconic Clubhouse team at London Heathrow Airport, UK. Known internally as Clubhouse Mixologist, whether you’re pulling the perfect espresso, crafting a classic cocktail, or recommending a guest’s new favourite drink, you’ll play a key role in creating memorable moments before our customers take to the skies. This isn’t just about mixing drinks, it’s about personality, energy and delivering brilliant hospitality. Day to day

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including coffees, teas, cocktails, wines, beers and soft drinks to Clubhouse standards
  • Deliver exceptional service with warmth, confidence and genuine personality
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere where every guest feels looked after
  • Work across both coffee and bar service areas, adapting to the needs of the shift
  • Share your knowledge of drinks and make tailored recommendations based on guest preferences
  • Contribute ideas for seasonal drinks, specials and new flavour combinations
  • Maintain a clean, organised and fully stocked workspace
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless guest experience

Whether you’re perfecting latte art or shaking up a signature serve, you’ll help set the tone for a premium, relaxed pre‑flight experience.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality and proud of the service they deliver. You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience working as a bartender and/or barista within a busy café, restaurant or bar environment
  • A strong focus on customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Confidence working in a fast‑paced setting and staying calm under pressure
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise during busy periods of service
  • A team‑focused mindset with a positive, can‑do attitude
  • Pride in presentation and maintaining high uniform standards

Experience in cocktail making or speciality coffee is a bonus, but personality, energy and a genuine love for hospitality matter just as much. You’ll also need to:

  • Be available to work shifts between 05:00 and 23:00, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Live in the UK, and be located within a 90‑minute commutable distance from London Heathrow, Hounslow, UK
  • Be aged 18 years of age or over, and be able to acquire an airside pass ID that permits you to enter and work in restricted areas of London Heathrow airport is essential for this role
