In a nutshell, at Virgin Atlantic, we don’t just fly aircraft — we manage world-class assets with precision, expertise and care. We’re looking for an experienced Aircraft Structures Engineer to join our Aircraft Asset Management team, playing a critical role in aircraft acquisitions and End of Lease (EOL) returns. This is a high-impact position where you’ll combine deep technical expertise with stakeholder influence, ensuring our aircraft meet the highest standards of safety, compliance and commercial performance.

Day to day, you’ll act as the structures specialist for aircraft entering and leaving the fleet, ensuring all structural integrity, documentation and regulatory requirements are fully met.

  • Provide on-site technical support during End of Lease maintenance inputs at MRO facilities worldwide.

About you: You’re a detail-driven and commercially aware structures expert who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

  • Degree/HND in Engineering (or equivalent) or CAA/EASA B1 Licence.
  • Proven experience in aircraft structures, design, repair or airline engineering environments.
  • Strong knowledge of CAA/EASA Part M, Part 21, and airworthiness requirements.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
