The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

Hours: 37.5 Monday to Friday
Location: Hybrid working 3 days a week in either our Cargo Facility at DCE – London Heathrow or VHQ in Crawley. Please note the working week must include a Thursday at DCE.
Contract: Permanent

In this exciting new role as Systems Lead – Cargo, you\’ll work closely with third-party technology partners to lead the cargo team within the area of technology deliverables and oversee the release management lifecycle to deliver business and system change. You\’ll drive innovation and continuous improvement, coordinating with internal teams and key technology partners on project management, software development, end-user requirements, quality assurance, and system testing cycles to ensure successful product delivery
  • Delivering Change: Coordinate with third-party technology partners and internal teams to plan, administer and manage testing cycles and quality assurance of changes for the cargo technology estate. Act as a product owner for our systems from definition to deployment, providing user-centred agile specifications, maintaining the product backlog, and facilitating requirements.
  • Technical Support and Service: Create and maintain industry-leading platforms by specifying new features and service requirements that represent both business and customer needs. Optimise functionality to drive revenue, enhance efficiency or improve conversion through refining and improving user journeys.
  • Business – Other: Communicate the department strategy and vision throughout the business, developing concepts, communications, and presentations on technology initiatives. Represent and champion Cargo Technology & Digital, ensuring the department is effective in achieving its aims and goals.
Do you have proven experience in a System Change and/or Business Change role? Do you have excellent problem-solving and technical/system skills? Then this could be the role for you!
Alongside the above, we\’re looking for the following:
  • Proven experience in a Systems Change and/or Business Change role, preferably in aviation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cargo industry best practices is desirable.
  • Extensive experience in Project Management principles.
  • Experience with programming languages (SQL) and Microsoft Suite such as Azure Dev Ops, Visio, and Project.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Highly organised with strong personal time management skills.
  • Qualifications in Prince2, Agile Scrum, or other Project Management qualifications are desirable.
  • Proven Product Management experience in a B2B environment is essential.
