In a nutshell
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Network & Alliances team at the very heart of Virgin Atlantic’s commercial engine. Known internally, as our Analyst – Alliances & Partnerships Development , you’ll play a key role in shaping the performance of our global route network and partnerships. You’ll be the data force behind our decision-making — designing tools, streamlining reporting, and unlocking insights that drive revenue and improve profitability. Whether it\’s supporting new tech rollouts like QSI or helping our teams make sense of fast-moving commercial trends, this role gives you the chance to make a real, measurable impact in one of the most connected and dynamic areas of the business.
Day to day
- Build and deliver reporting focused on network revenue, market share performance, route profitability and JV partner performance
- Maintain and enhance a suite of Network & Alliances tools, ensuring best practice is applied consistently
- Collaborate closely with our Data & AI team to ensure data integrity and effective cross-team usage
- Lead process improvements that streamline how the team works and scales new technologies
- Support the implementation of new tools, including AI-based solutions, to enable smarter decision-making
- Communicate performance updates and trends in a clear, commercially relevant way to key stakeholders
About you
- You\’re a curious, analytical thinker who loves to uncover patterns and stories within data and be able to tell that story to non data folks
- Confident using Microsoft Power BI to build impactful reports & visualisations
- You will have some experience gained within aviation or airline (desirable)
- Technically proficient with SQL and some exposure to Python and PBI DAX for data handling and automation would be desirable
- Comfortable working at pace, adapting quickly and prioritising under pressure
- Passionate about driving commercial outcomes and improving ways of working
