As the Manager - Compensation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery of our compensation processes across all Virgin Atlantic workgroups and international markets. Working closely with the Senior Manager - Compensation, you will support the execution of compensation plans and activities, ensuring they align with our Reward plan. This role is highly analytical and requires a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
Day to day
- Collaborate with the People team and business stakeholders to deliver accurate and compliant BAU compensation processes.
- Support the planning and execution of cyclical global compensation programs, including variable pay cycles, pay reviews, and multi-year collective pay deals.
- Conduct advanced analytical modelling and presentations to support key compensation activities.
- Partner with business stakeholders to complete effective job evaluation and benchmarking exercises.
- Ensure all compensation policies are up to date and fully operationalised within the People team.
- Leverage the latest technologies to improve automation and simplify processes.
- Stay connected to external partners, trends, and insights to influence planning and decision-making.
About you
- Experience working within complex, global organisations and across diverse stakeholder groups.
- CIPD Qualified or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of compensation design and processes.
- Advanced analytical and modelling skills, with experience in PowerBI, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex problems and solutions.
- Experience working with Trade Unions and Staff Committees is an advantage.
- High level of drive, enthusiasm, tenacity, and resilience, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, with experience scrutinising complex Excel-based models for accuracy and logic.
