We're delighted to share that we’re further expanding our retail presence in London, with three new stores opening between October and February. Watch this space... Virgin Atlantic Holidays is on an exciting journey returning to London to define a new era of premium travel and enable every guest to holiday to the fullest. This premium travel advisory role is for someone who can inspire with confidence, bringing the Virgin Atlantic Holidays promise to life in one of the world’s most dynamic travel markets. Our vision is to become the most loved travel company – helping guests get the most out of every journey.

Day to day

As we enter this next exciting chapter, we have the ambition to become the brand of choice in premium long-haul travel. Your passion for connecting people with extraordinary travel experiences knows no bounds. Whether through social media, hosting inspiring events or engaging with the local community, you'll continually seek creative ways to introduce new guests to the Virgin Atlantic Holidays experience.

Working alongside our award-winning Retail team who share your passion and dedication to delivering outstanding guest service, you will:

  • Deliver premium service during every interaction, both pre-and post-sale, while actively identifying opportunities to maximise sales and create memorable guest experiences, embodying our values of 'Think Red', 'Make Friends' and 'Be Amazing'.
  • No two days are the same. One moment you'll be helping a couple plan their honeymoon in the Maldives, the next you'll be inspiring a family to discover Orlando, before welcoming guests into the store for an exclusive travel event.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed personal and team performance targets including sales and guest experience metrics through a proactive, guest-focused approach, taking ownership of enquiries and converting opportunities into bookings.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of destinations, products, hotels and travel trends, demonstrating a proactive approach to staying up to date with new products, hotel offerings and destination updates.
  • Use your passion for luxury travel to confidently inspire guests and drive sales.
  • Work collaboratively with your team to support the day-to-day success of the store, contributing to a positive, high-performing sales culture.
  • Provide exceptional after-sales support, taking ownership of guest enquiries, amendments and travel-related requests, ensuring every guest receives a seamless experience from booking through to travel and beyond.

About you

We're looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, natural warmth and charisma, and a genuine passion for travel and tourism. We're also looking for the following:

  • Demonstrated customer service skills with a passion and desire to deliver a premium experience.
  • Proven ability to achieve performance targets and key KPIs in a fast-paced sales or retail environment.
  • Previous experience within the airline, travel, tourism, hospitality, or luxury service industry is desirable.
  • A passion for premium travel, with a commitment to staying informed about destinations, trends, and exceptional travel experiences.
  • Strong ability to build long-term guest relationships through personalised service, trust, and tailored recommendations.
  • Confident in creating genuine connections to convert enquiries into bookings, and making guests feel valued, understood, and supported.
  • Skilled at communicating value over price, confidently positioning premium products and experiences in a calm and reassuring way.
  • Adaptable and resilient, with a positive, solution-focused approach to working in a fast-changing environment.

Our guests love to travel outside traditional office hours, so our stores are open seven days a week. You'll work a variety of shifts across mornings, evenings and weekends, with plenty of notice through our rota planning. This isn't a traditional retail role. Every conversation and every holiday is unique. You'll build lasting relationships, create unforgettable travel experiences, and help guests plan life's biggest moments while representing one of the world's most loved travel brands. Whether you've worked in travel, luxury retail, hospitality or another customer-focused environment, we'll help you become a destination expert.
