As our Manager – B2B Sales Communications & Engagement, you’ll be the voice behind how Virgin Atlantic shows up to our valuable trade and industry partners: leisure agencies, TMC, and corporate customers. You’ll also play a vital role communicating to our sales team and ensuring they are up to date with all the latest news and selling collateral. From writing engaging and inspiring content for our VP B2B Sales to orchestrating impactful sales events, you’ll craft a consistent, bold narrative that reflects our commercial ambition and brand spirit. Reporting to the Senior Manager – Sales Planning, this role puts you at the centre of how we communicate, influence, and build excitement across the travel industry landscape.
Day to day
- Define and deliver a bold, strategic B2B communications and engagement plan that supports our global sales goals.
- Lead content and communication across owned channels like our trade website and B2B email newsletters.
- Spearhead impactful sales events—crafting messaging and delivery alongside stakeholders and the Events team.
- Support the VP B2B Sales and other sales leaders with thought leadership content, speechwriting, and social media positioning.
- Partner with B2B Marketing, Corporate Comms and PR to amplify our industry voice.
- Champion our tone of voice and brand guidelines—ensuring clarity, consistency, and creativity in everything we do.
- Innovate with technology—bringing forward new tools, digital platforms, and storytelling formats that enhance engagement.
- Set high standards and best practices for communication and event execution, driving continuous improvement and mentoring other team members.
About you
- You’re a confident communicator, equally comfortable behind the pen, behind the scenes, or in front of a room.
- You’ve got experience leading and delivering projects in B2B marketing, media, communications or events—and you know what resonates.
- You bring creativity and commercial thinking in equal measure, with a knack for tailoring messages to diverse audiences.
- You’re at home in PowerPoint, presentation software and content management systems—and know how to make a story land.
- You excel at project management—balancing multiple stakeholders, shifting priorities and tight deadlines with ease.
- You enjoy collaboration and thrive on building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- You’re curious about new tech, excited by change, and always looking to raise the bar.
- Ideally, you’ve worked in or around the travel or airline industry and understand what matters in our world.
- You hold a degree in Journalism, Event Management (or similar), or bring at least five years’ experience in communications or event management.
