At Virgin Atlantic Airways, we believe that everyone can take on the world, and it's our vision to become the most loved travel company. As we embark on this next exciting stage of our journey, we’re harnessing our spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation to challenge the status quo.

In a nutshell, Corporate Sales plays a vital role in how Virgin Atlantic builds lasting relationships with some of our most important customers and partners. As Senior Manager – Corporate Sales, you'll be at the heart of that success, leading a talented team while shaping the partnerships and commercial strategies that drive sustainable growth. Working alongside the Head of Corporate Sales as their trusted deputy, you'll help set the direction for the team, champion our strategy and create an environment where people can thrive.

You'll lead relationships with Travel Management Companies (TMCs), our Joint Venture partners, hotels and wider industry partners, ensuring every partnership delivers meaningful value for our customers and our business. This is a highly visible role where you'll influence across Virgin Atlantic, represent the business externally and use commercial insight to turn opportunities into long-term success.

Day to day:

  • Leading, coaching and inspiring the Corporate Sales team, creating a high-performing, engaged culture while supporting the Head of Corporate Sales in delivering the team's priorities.
  • Building and growing strategic partnerships across Travel Management Companies (TMCs), our Joint Venture partners, hotel groups and wider industry, turning relationships into measurable commercial value.
  • Using customer insight, market intelligence and performance data to shape commercial strategy, identify opportunities and drive profitable revenue growth.
  • Representing Corporate Sales across Virgin Atlantic and externally, leading senior business reviews, negotiations and cross-functional initiatives that strengthen our commercial performance.
  • Driving the success of our Corporate Sales loyalty programme and partnership plans, ensuring they support customer engagement, retention and long-term growth.
  • Working collaboratively with Revenue Management, Marketing, Finance, Legal and our global sales teams to deliver joined-up commercial solutions and continuously improve how we work.

About you:

You're a positive, commercially minded leader who enjoys bringing people together, building trusted relationships and helping teams perform at their very best. Comfortable balancing strategy with delivery, you'll combine commercial judgement with a collaborative leadership style and a genuine passion for developing people.

  • Significant experience leading sales, account management or strategic relationship teams, with a proven track record of coaching people and creating high-performing, engaged teams.
  • Strong commercial judgement, using data, customer insight and market trends to make informed decisions, prioritise opportunities and deliver sustainable business growth.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with experience managing senior internal and external stakeholders and leading complex commercial discussions.
  • A collaborative and resilient leadership style, comfortable working across functions, influencing without direct authority and acting as a trusted deputy to senior leadership.
  • An engaging communicator who role models Virgin Atlantic's values, brings energy and enthusiasm to the team, and creates positive momentum through change and continuous improvement.

Experience within the travel, aviation or corporate travel industry, including working with Travel Management Companies, airline partnerships or loyalty programmes, is highly desirable. However, we're equally interested in leaders who bring outstanding commercial acumen, exceptional people leadership and a passion for building long-term customer relationships.

If you're looking for a role where you can help shape the future of Corporate Sales, develop a fantastic team and build partnerships that make a real difference to our customers and our business, we'd love to hear from you.
