Day to day
- Conduct technical assessments of access controls across cloud and on-premises systems to identify gaps, misconfigurations, or excessive privileges.
- Engineer and support the implementation of secure IAM solutions and integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., Active Directory, AWS IAM, Entra ID, ServiceNow).
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to design and implement automated provisioning/deprovisioning workflows, improving operational efficiency and reducing risk.
- Evaluate and implement technical controls for Privileged Access Management (PAM), including session recording, credential vaulting, and just-in-time access models.
- Develop scripts or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, API-based) to support IAM operations such as bulk entitlement reviews, access recertifications, and reporting.
- Support the deployment, integration, and operation of Identity and Access Management platforms and technologies.
About you
- Considerable experience in IAM or Security Engineering-focused roles.
- Hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management systems across both on-premises and cloud environments (e.g. Active Directory, Entra ID, AWS IAM).
- Working knowledge of key IAM principles and technologies including RBAC/ABAC, PAM, IGA, identity protocols and directory services.
- Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into secure and effective access controls.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement and contribute to process improvement and automation.
