Do you have what it takes to recruit and develop a team and achieve challenging targets? If so, you are ideal for the role of Personal Training Manager at Virgin Active. The inspiration and motivation behind our Personal Training teams' success, your innate ability to put together a top-notch fitness programme will have every chance to shine. We will also rely on you to guarantee a safe and healthy environment where excellent member service comes first and foremost, every time. Increasing the club's PT clientele and reaching and surpassing your monthly revenue goals will be important too; so will having fun helping our members achieve their aspirations.
Your job:
- Inspire and support the Personal Trainers to be the best in the industry
- Lead continuous professional development within your team
- Dedicated coaching hours to mentor your team
- Responsible for developing the PT business in club, as well as recruitment and payroll
- Be the image of great member service within the fitness department by providing a high level of customer service and client care to all members.
- Drive financial revenue and profit targets and ensure year on year growth in the club
- Work alongside the wider club team completing Service Manager shifts weekly
Your commitment: This role is XXXX, working XXXX hours per week. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business; specific shift patterns include 'earlies', 'lates' and weekends.
Qualifications:
- Personal Trainer Level 3 or Level 4 REPs or CIMSPA equivalent qualification
- Experience as a Personal Trainer with a proven track record
- World class leadership skills with a passion for fitness and the industry
- Evidence of continued self-development within fitness
- Ability to develop and coach others
