We take value in recruiting only the very best Personal Training Manager to join our Club Management teams, to lead our Personal Trainer Teams to provide our members with the finest fitness and wellness sessions in the industry. With refurbishments underway across the majority of our estate and a renewed focus on experience-led wellness, this role plays a key part in shaping the first impression of our new era.

The Personal Training Manager is responsible for working alongside other club management to ensure that the in-club product offering is fully synchronized and available to our members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Personal Training weekly plan with clear actions, targets and reviews; drive PT penetration, DD uptake and revenue through new client acquisition and strong member retention.
  • Deliver exceptional member journeys and outcomes, elevate session quality, consultations and trials; ensure a seamless path from first purchase to long-term engagement.
  • Ensure best-in-class PT operations, maintain strong in-club processes, system adherence, timely resolution of flagged sessions, and robust end-to-end member journeys.
  • Recruit, develop and retain top PT talent, hire qualified trainers, deliver a structured 12-week onboarding, run mentorship programmes, workshops and targeted coaching.
  • Build a high-performance culture aligned to our purpose, hold regular 1:1s and progression reviews, motivate through recognition, and foster a fun, results-driven team environment.
  • Use data and digital to drive results, translate dashboards into weekly actions across penetration, productivity, conversion, bookings and churn; keep PT profiles compelling and up to date.
  • Uphold brand standards, safety and compliance, ensure safe practice, safeguarding, floor standards, current certifications and up-to-date risk assessments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to maximise impact, partner with GM, Product, Membership and Group Exercise to align targets, lead flow, promotions, pilots and new SOPs.

Qualifications

  • Personal Trainer Level 3 or Level 4 or CIMSPA equivalent qualification.
