We are looking for a Nutrition & Wellness Lead (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract) to join our Product Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join Virgin Active on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover, playing a key role in shaping and delivering our nutrition and wellness proposition, ensuring we remain at the forefront of health, recovery and performance.
The Role:
- Lead the development and delivery of Virgin Active's nutrition and wellness strategy across the UK.
- Develop innovative wellness products and services, including nutrition, recovery, longevity and health assessment offerings.
- Drive commercial performance through ancillary revenue, cross-selling opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Support and develop Personal Trainers through education, mentoring and ongoing professional development.
- Collaborate with Marketing and external partners to deliver impactful wellness campaigns, events and member experiences.
- Use data and insight to optimise product performance, member engagement and retention.
- Champion innovation by identifying emerging industry trends and evolving the wellness proposition.
- Support clubs through training, coaching and regular visits to embed products and deliver exceptional member experiences.
- Represent Virgin Active within the wider wellness industry, building relationships that strengthen our brand and proposition.
Experience:
- Degree in Nutrition with registration through an appropriate professional body (SENR, RNutr or equivalent).
- Proven experience developing and delivering nutrition, wellness or performance programmes.
- Strong understanding of emerging trends in wellness, recovery and longevity.
- Experience delivering training, education and coaching to teams.
- Commercially minded with experience driving product performance and revenue growth.
- Strong stakeholder management and partnership development skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Flexible approach to travel, with the ability to support clubs nationally as part of a hybrid role.
Great to Have:
- Additional qualifications in wellness, physiology or related disciplines.
- Experience within the fitness, leisure or hospitality sector.
- Experience working with health assessment technologies and digital wellness platforms.
- Experience developing strategic partnerships and wellness events.
