The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for operating and maintaining a viable and effective preventative maintenance programme for the whole site, including the building shell and surrounding grounds under supervision of their line manager. Ensuring that the facility adheres to all engineering compliance standards not putting members or employees at any risk. Monitoring the basic fixtures and fittings of the building are maintained to the highest standards of order and tidiness at all times. Following all Health & Safety policies and reporting any issues or concerns immediately. Maintaining the basement, plant rooms, roof and fire exits to company standards and ensuring all plant and equipment is maintained.

Being proactive, use your initiative and take ownership of situations such as member complaints, fulfilling Duty Shifts when required, therefore having responsibility and accountability during the shift, controlling staffing and facility issues throughout the club.

A technical Level 2 qualification of City & Guilds equivalent or higher is required.
