The Role:

1. Maintain a friendly, calm, and approachable demeanor, acting quickly and effectively when needed.
2. Ensure the safety of members in the pool and spa areas, taking responsibility for personal and others\’ safety.
3. Conduct safety checks diligently and record them accurately.
4. Monitor water chemical levels and clean the water as required.
5. Keep all areas clean and uphold Virgin Active\’s high standards.
6. Comply with all mandatory training and health and safety regulations.
7. Fulfill Duty Shifts when required, overseeing staffing and facility issues during your shift.

You must have a current Lifeguard qualification and be fully registered, with either an IQL National Pool Qualification (RLSS), HABC Level 2 Award in Pool Lifeguarding (RQF), or STA Professional Award for Pool Lifeguard (RQF).
