Role Overview:

  • Lead the Family Activities Team to deliver an outstanding members' experience daily.
  • Oversee the management and compliance of all Family Activities for children aged 6 weeks to 16 years, creating a fun, lively, and creative atmosphere.
  • Ensure the club meets statutory requirements related to Regulatory Bodies and work with the management team to maintain compliance.
  • Provide appropriate care for all children according to statutory and Virgin Active guidelines.
  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive programme of group and individual swim lessons for children and adults, including holiday crash courses and pool hire activities.
  • Maintain knowledge of STA England's requirements and Virgin Active's best practices, ensuring ongoing compliance.
  • Ensure the safety of all members through adherence to Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults policies, with all team members and Heads of Department fully trained on reporting procedures.
  • Flexibly take on duties such as Duty Shift responsibilities, demonstrating leadership and dedication to club management.
