We are looking for a Family Activities Compliance & Safety Trainer to join our Product Team. The Family Activities Compliance & Safety Trainer plays a key role in ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, safety and compliance across our family activity programmes, including swimming, racquets and children's activities.
You will support clubs through auditing, training and continuous improvement initiatives, helping teams deliver safe, inclusive and exceptional experiences for children and families while maintaining compliance with regulatory and governing body requirements.
The Role
- Conduct safeguarding, safety and compliance audits across clubs, identifying risks and supporting corrective actions.
- Design and deliver engaging training programmes covering safeguarding, compliance, inclusion and safe activity delivery.
- Support clubs in maintaining regulatory readiness and compliance with relevant standards and governing body requirements.
- Investigate incidents and safeguarding concerns, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate follow up and learning.
- Analyse compliance data, audit outcomes and trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Coach and support club teams to build capability, accountability and confidence in compliance and safety standards.
- Champion inclusive practices that support positive experiences for all children and families.
- Collaborate with club and support office teams to embed a culture of safety, safeguarding and continuous improvement.
- Travel across the UK to support clubs, deliver training and conduct audits.
Experience
- Childcare, teaching or education qualification (Level 3 or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and compliance requirements.
- Experience in compliance, auditing, quality assurance or safeguarding focused roles.
- Experience designing and delivering training programmes or workshops.
- Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for creating safe, inclusive environments for children and families.
Great to Have
- Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) qualification or equivalent.
- Experience supporting Ofsted inspections or regulatory audits.
- Experience within swimming, racquets or children's activity programmes.
- Knowledge of STA, LTA or other relevant governing body standards.
