We are looking for a Brand Designer to join our Marketing Department. The Brand Designer is responsible for creating visually engaging and impactful content across various platforms, with a primary focus on digital media, website, social media and print materials.

The Role

  • Designing and developing bold and differentiated visual content for various marketing campaigns and channels, including social, digital, website and print (brochures, flyers, and posters).
  • Ensuring that all design materials adhere to Virgin Active's brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across different channels.
  • Being the brand guardian for the Virgin Active brand and know the guidelines inside and out.
  • Creating disruptive and shareable content for Virgin Active's social platforms to engage and grow the community.
  • Collaborating with the Website Executive to design and update website elements, landing pages, and online assets to enhance user experience and conversion rates.
  • Keeping all brand assets stored clearly and accessible for the rest of the team.
  • Help the wider team to source the perfect images for their tasks, following Virgin Active imagery style guidelines.
  • Working with agencies, photographers and videographers to create new and striking work for the brand globally.
  • Brief external parties on the brand style and deliverables and attend and advise during shoot days with a strong attention to detail.
  • Conceptualizing and producing content such as social and digital printed marketing materials, including brochures, posters, signage, and promotional materials for events and campaigns.
  • Staying updated with design trends and industry best practices, bringing innovative ideas to the table for continuous improvement.
  • Coming up with bold fresh visuals and on trend designs geared to push design boundaries.

Experience

  • Proven experience 4+ years as a graphic or brand designer with a strong portfolio showcasing work across multi-channel marketing campaigns and in social media, digital media, website, and print design.
  • Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Ability to edit and create videos in Premiere Pro and After Effects for website or social channels.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles and design for different platforms.
