Viral Growth is a content agency specialising in short-form video for founders and business owners. We help our clients build audiences, grow influence, and drive real business outcomes through content that actually performs. Our model is built around founder-led, talking-head content - not polished brand campaigns.
We're growing fast, and we need a Director of Content Operations to lead the team and the systems that deliver results for our clients at scale.
The Role
You'll own the full production operation at Viral Growth - the people, the processes, and the output quality. You're the person who ensures that every client's content pipeline runs smoothly, that the team is performing at a high level, and that our delivery scales without breaking. This is a senior leadership role. You'll manage editors, coordinators, and strategists across multiple client accounts, and you'll be responsible for building the internal infrastructure that lets us grow without sacrificing quality or speed.
What We're Looking For
You have a demonstrable track record of driving high viewership short-form video content - specifically in founder-led or talking-head formats. You understand what makes this content category work, and you've been directly involved in producing it at volume. Experience with corporate or brand video production alone won't be sufficient for this role. You've also led teams and built departments. You know how to hire well, manage performance, develop talent, and put operational systems in place that outlast you. You think in workflows, not just tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Viral Growth content team across all client accounts
- Own the end-to-end production pipeline from intake to delivery
- Design and maintain SOPs, quality standards, and internal tooling
- Oversee resource allocation, capacity planning, and team growth
- Work closely with client-facing leads to ensure delivery meets expectations
- Report on team performance and feed operational insights into company strategy
You'll Be a Strong Fit If You:
- Can point to specific short-form video content you've been directly responsible for - with viewership data to back it up
- Have managed a content or media team of at least four to six people
- Have experience in a creator economy, digital media, or content agency environment
- Are comfortable running a department operationally without needing heavy oversight
- Understand the difference between founder-led content and traditional brand content - and have built pipelines for the former
To Apply
Send a short introduction, links to content you've played a direct role in producing (with context on your specific contribution), and a brief overview of a team or operational system you've built that you're proud of. Bonus if you messaged Simon Shaw (our founder) with a Loom.com video explaining your experience further. Applications without portfolio examples will not be reviewed.
