Viral Tribe is the dedicated studio and production division of Viral Tribe Entertainment, specialising in production and growth across audio, video, and social platforms. Conveniently located in Soho, London – the heart of creativity – Viral Tribe supports brands and creators at every stage of their podcast journey, from concept and production to promotion and monetisation.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Studio Manager / Engineer & Podcast Producer to run our 4 podcast recording studios in Soho, London. This client facing role requires experience across processing studio bookings, audio and video engineering and editing, production management, new client acquisition, and podcast producing.
Key Responsibilities
- Studio Management of our four podcast studios – processing bookings, managing file storage, organisation, and delivery to clients.
- Audio and video engineering – recording podcasts and operating professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Audio and video editing – creating both long form and short form podcast and social content edits.
- Outreach – new client acquisition and retention for studio hire and production packages.
- Pitches – pricing up productions and collaborating with producers, hosts, and clients to bring their vision to life.
- General studio upkeep – maintain excellent working order for the four podcast studios – knowledge of audio and video equipment required.
- Studio occupancy tracking and reporting to wider Viral Tribe team.
- Podcast Producer oversight for the development and production of both internal and external podcasts to ensure we deliver high quality podcasts for our clients.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in studio management within an audio and visual environment, including managing end-to-end processes of client acquisition, booking, and retention.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of audio and video engineering, including knowing how a studio operates and works in order to be able to fix any technical issues that arise.
- Proficient in audio and video recording and editing software (eg: Reaper, Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere Pro – whichever software you prefer to use.)
- Strong people and communication skills – you will be front-of-house for the podcast studios and responsible for the clients experience and journey with us.
- Proven experience in podcast production, including managing end-to-end processes. Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working closely with creative teams and external stakeholders.
