Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager for a budget property in Derby to oversee daily operations and ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.

Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage services.
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise staff to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement organisational policies, procedures, and standards aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Handle guest complaints and special requests promptly and professionally to maintain excellent service standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures, P&L.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all departments.
  • Promote a positive organisational culture centred on teamwork, professionalism, and hospitality excellence.

APPLICANT SHOULD BE CURRENTLY WORKING IN UK ON SKILLED WORKER VISA OR SETTLED STATUS.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong supervisory skills with previous experience managing diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication skills; proficiency in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding guest services consistently.
