We're looking for an exceptional Data Consultant to join one of the UK's largest parcel delivery organisations. This is a unique opportunity to blend technical leadership with hands-on development, working with cutting-edge technologies in an exciting logistics environment!

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and implement technical solutions across our data landscape
  • Provide technical mentorship and drive engineering best practices
  • Optimize mission-critical data pipelines supporting nationwide operations

Must-Have Experience:

  • 8+ years in data engineering with team leadership experience
  • Expert-level knowledge of Databricks platform for logistics applications
  • Advanced Python development skills
  • Deep understanding of SQL optimization for large-scale operations
  • Proven experience with AWS technologies (EC2, Lambda, Fargate, ECS, CDK)
  • Strong background in streaming and batch Spark workloads
