IT Support Engineer – 1 month contract – Andover My customer is on the lookout for an IT Support Engineer to help support just over 100 users mixed between office and factory. The Engineer must have basic Networking and strong Microsoft Office Suite experience. The IT Support Engineer would help with any 1st and some 2nd line issues and be the intermediary between the business and the outsourced IT team. The IT Support Engineer is required on site in Andover for the duration of the contract. Key Responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer Provide first-line support to office users for issues related to: Password resets. Active Directory (AD) and Azure authentication. Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint). Install and configure approved software applications. Manage and assign administrative access rights as per company policies. Escalate complex technical issues to the outsourced IT team when necessary. Serve as the intermediary between factory users and the outsourced IT team. Support basic TCP/IP networking and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Assist with firewall configurations and monitoring. Ensure smooth communication and coordination with external IT providers. Monitor and maintain network health, ensuring minimal downtime. Liaise with external teams to resolve escalated network issues promptly. The successful IT Support Engineer is required on site in Andover for the duration of the contract.
