A Utilities client is looking for an experienced IdAM SailPoint Engineer to help configure, support, and enhance SailPoint ISC within an enterprise environment. The successful SailPoint Engineer will play a key role in strengthening identity governance, improving access controls, and supporting a growing IDAM roadmap. You would be required to be DBS checked prior to onboarding, in accordance with BS7858.
Key Responsibilities of the SailPoint Engineer:
- Configure and support SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) across enterprise systems.
- Integrate ISC with HR platforms, Active Directory, Entra ID, and other key systems.
- Deliver core IGA capabilities including Joiners/Movers/Leavers (JML), access certifications, and RBAC.
- Support application onboarding using connectors (SCIM, REST APIs, JDBC, web services, AD).
- Implement and support SSO, MFA and AAA integrations.
- Support and integrate Privileged Access Management (PAM) capabilities and privileged identity governance.
- Enable modern access models such as Just-in-Time (JIT) and Just-Enough-Access (JEA).
- Troubleshoot complex IDAM issues and ensure platform stability.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation.
Key Experience of the SailPoint Engineer:
- Must have strong experience with SailPoint ISC (IdentityNow).
- Proven background in IdAM/IGA engineering within enterprise environments.
- Experience integrating with Active Directory and Entra ID.
- Must have a solid understanding of authentication, authorisation (AAA), and privileged access (PAM) concepts.
- Working within a Utilities company is desirable but not essential.
- Solid experience in identity life cycle management and governance principles.
- Strong working experience of Single Sign-on (SSO), Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) and modern access control models.
The successful IdAM SailPoint engineer will be able to commute 2/3 times per week across sites in the Northwest of England.
