We are looking for a Technical Observability Consultant who thrives in complex enterprise environments and enjoys working directly with customers. This is a highly client-facing role where you will confidently stand in front of the business, articulate value, and help sell observability-led solutions, while also having the technical depth to design and deliver them.
Responsibilities / What you’ll do:
- You will design, implement, and optimise IT Operations solutions across Observability, AIOps, and ITSM, helping clients adopt best practices in Event Management and OpenTelemetry.
- Acting as a trusted advisor, you will bridge technology and business strategy, translating complex technical concepts into clear outcomes for stakeholders, and guiding customers through their observability journey end-to-end.
- You will also contribute to the development of frameworks, accelerators, and methodologies that define how the company delivers its services.
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in IT Operations, consulting, or related technical roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with observability platforms such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Datadog.
- Experience with AIOps/ITSM tools including BigPanda, Splunk ITSM, ServiceNow, or equivalent.
- Solid expertise in Event Management and OpenTelemetry.
- Strong understanding of ITSM/ITIL frameworks and Enterprise Architecture principles.
- Proven experience delivering and presenting solutions to large enterprise clients.
- Comfortable leading customer conversations, standing up solutions, and articulating value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to bridge deep technical delivery with commercial and business outcomes.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: £80,000 - £100,000 (depending on experience).
- Annual performance bonus.
- 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Hybrid working with flexibility around client engagements.
