Job Description

Oracle Simphony POS Support Specialist (Level 2)

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Simphony POS Support Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract. This Oracle Simphony Support Engineer is a Level 2 support role, ideal for someone with strong operational knowledge of Oracle Simphony and EMC, who can assist in maintaining and optimising the POS estate.

Your focus will be on providing hands-on support, managing configuration changes, assisting with rollouts, and resolving functional issues.

Oracle Simphony Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  • Inside IR35
  • Provide Level 2 support for Oracle Simphony POS issues, escalated from frontline teams
  • Assist with new implementations, including configuration and testing support
  • Configure and maintain elements within EMC, including:
  • Adding and updating menu items and pricing
  • Managing employee profiles and access permissions
  • Supporting revenue centre and zone configurations
  • Review and maintain POS control settings and ensure compliance with business standards
  • Support payment interface setup and troubleshooting
  • Implement layout/page design updates as directed by the Lead Specialist
  • Document changes, log issues, and assist with testing and validation of updates
  • Collaborate closely with operations, IT, and the Lead Simphony Specialist
