Oracle FCCS/Consolidation Systems Analyst
Location: Leicester (Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite) | Type: Permanent | Salary: £50,000 – £60,000
VIQU have partnered with a leading UK retail organisation currently undergoing a major Oracle finance transformation, implementing Oracle Cloud across their finance operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Oracle FCCS/Consolidation Systems Analyst to play a key role in shaping the future of a world-class retail finance department.
The Role
As an Oracle Systems Analyst, you\’ll be part of the finance transformation team responsible for managing and optimising the organisation\’s new Oracle Cloud platform. Your primary focus will be on the Financial Close and Consolidation (FCCS) module, supporting accurate, efficient, and compliant financial consolidation and reporting processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage the implementation of the Oracle FCCS module, collaborating with Oracle and internal finance teams.
- Perform ongoing system administration, including metadata updates, data loads, reconciliations, and environment synchronisation.
- Document system configurations, application designs, and process improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, coordinating with Oracle and internal IT as needed.
- Provide end-user support and training on consolidation and reporting processes.
- Drive continuous improvement and optimisation of the close and consolidation cycle.
What You\’ll Need
- 3+ years\’ experience working as an Oracle FCCS Analyst or with HFM (Hyperion Financial Management).
- Strong understanding of financial consolidation, close processes, and group reporting.
- Background in Finance or Accounting – ideally with a degree or qualification (eg ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW).
- Experience implementing or supporting Oracle EPM or similar enterprise performance management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both finance and technology stakeholders.
- Oracle FCCS certification or exposure to similar EPM tools (OneStream, IBM Cognos Controller, Workday, NetSuite) is desirable.
