VIQU have partnered with a leading financial services organisation who are seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the design of a greenfield system due to their ongoing company growth. This individual must have experience designing high volume transactional systems (payment networks, IoT, banking, energy systems, etc.), designing microservices architecture, have strong experience with case management or workflow automation tools, system integrations and be able to produce high quality documentation.
Key Requirements of the Solutions Architect:
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, ideally focusing on high volume transactional systems, and system integrations.
- Experience with either case management or workflow automation tools.
- Strong background with cloud microservices architecture.
- Deep understanding of API design, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Must be able to pivot across varied contexts & multitask effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience of working with C suite executives to align business goals to technical ones.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills, able to work under pressure and overcome challenges.
- Experience with Pega case management tools would be a nice to have.
Job Duties of the Solution Architect:
- Lead solution design across core software systems.
- Work closely with senior (Head of to C-suite) to shape the technical direction of the platform.
- Produce high-quality documentation that serves both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Architect and document integrations using APIs, microservices, and event-driven patterns (Kafka).
- Ensure architectural governance, scalability, and security across all projects.
- Champion modern software design practices within Agile delivery teams.
