My customer is seeking an IdAM Engineer to play a pivotal role within the cyber team to uplift an ongoing project to build on its Authentication and Authorisation, Privileged Identity Management, and Identity Governance and Administration services.

You will bring strong experience in SailPoint Identity Security Cloud and integrating SailPoint into HR systems, Active Directory, Entra ID, and other enterprise platforms.

Key Skills required from the SailPoint Engineer:
  • Delivered identity and access management solutions within a cyber security team, focusing on authentication, authorisation, and privileged access.
  • Configured and enhanced SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) across multiple environments.
  • Integrated SailPoint with enterprise systems including HR platforms, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
  • Implemented core identity governance capabilities: Joiner/Mover/Leaver (JML), certifications, RBAC, policy enforcement, and least-privilege access.
  • Onboarded applications using standard connectors and supported system integrations.
  • Designed and implemented SSO, MFA, and identity life cycle management solutions.
  • Supported Just-In-Time (JIT) and Just-Enough-Access (JEA) access models.
  • Produced and maintained technical documentation; resolved complex IdAM issues.
  • Contributed to identity governance maturity improvements and life cycle process optimisation.
  • Supported compliance initiatives, risk remediation, and access control enhancements.
  • Maintained operational stability and drove continuous improvement of the identity platform.

Please note that you will require DBS checks to proceed with this role. The SailPoint Engineer is required onsite, 2/3 days per week in Manchester.
