We're looking for a Technical Observability Consultant who thrives in complex enterprise environments and enjoys working directly with customers. This is a highly client-facing role where you'll confidently stand in front of the business, articulate value, and help sell observability-led solutions, while also having the technical depth to design and deliver them.
You will design, implement, and optimise IT Operations solutions across Observability, AIOps, and ITSM, helping clients adopt best practices in Event Management and OpenTelemetry. Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll bridge technology and business strategy, translating complex technical concepts into clear outcomes for stakeholders, and guiding customers through their observability journey end-to-end. You'll also contribute to the development of frameworks, accelerators, and methodologies that define how the company delivers its services.
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years' experience in IT Operations, consulting, or related technical roles
- Strong hands-on experience with observability platforms such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Datadog
- Experience with AIOps/ITSM tools including BigPanda, Splunk ITSM, ServiceNow, or equivalent
- Solid expertise in Event Management and OpenTelemetry
- Strong understanding of ITSM/ITIL frameworks and Enterprise Architecture principles
- Proven experience delivering and presenting solutions to large enterprise clients
- Comfortable leading customer conversations, standing up solutions, and articulating value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to bridge deep technical delivery with commercial and business outcomes
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: £80,000 - £100,000 (depending on experience)
- Annual performance bonus
- 25 days' annual leave plus
