VIQU have partnered with a leading government organisation who are actively seeking a Lead Application Support Analyst/Manager to join their team to lead and manage the technical support team to ensure timely and effective resolution of software application issues.
Duties for the Lead Application Support Analyst:
- Lead and manage a technical support team, fixing high level software application issues when required.
- Release management - Coordinate software updates and manage release calendars, communicating release plans and conducting readiness reviews.
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment, ensuring efficient deployment processes with minimal downtime.
- Develop and maintain configuration management processes, implementing automated tools to reduce errors whilst monitoring and auditing configurations regularly for discrepancies.
- Oversee change control processes and ensure proper documentation.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence.
Experience required for the Lead Application Support Analyst:
- Previously led and managed software/application support teams.
- Experience of modern programming languages (C#), problem solving and debugging code.
- Experience of leading a technical team, ensuring conformance to Agile principles.
- Ability to provide technical and professional mentoring.
- Experience of managing releases, deployments, configuration and environments.
