VIQU is working with a leading engineering organisation delivering high-voltage infrastructure and electrical design solutions across the energy sector. They are seeking an experienced HV Design Integration Lead to play a key role in coordinating and assuring the delivery of HV electrical design projects while supporting the growth of an in-house engineering capability.
Key Responsibilities of the HV Design Integration Lead role:
- Lead and coordinate HV electrical design activities across substation and infrastructure projects
- Manage interfaces between Primary, Protection Control and secondary electrical disciplines
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontract designers and external consultants to ensure integrated delivery
- Support technical assurance, design reviews and sign-off activities in line with NERS and industry standards
- Identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks across projects
- Act as a key technical interface with clients, DNOs, Tier 1 contractors and stakeholders
- Support bids, tenders and early-stage project delivery strategies
- Contribute to the development of internal electrical design capability and mentor future team members
