VIQU has partnered with an established managed IT services provider looking to appoint an IT Business Development Manager to drive new customer acquisition across London. This is a genuine new business position focused on winning SME customers, with some leads provided alongside a clear expectation to generate your own opportunities.

Key Responsibilities of the IT Business Development Manager:

  • Build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities across London
  • Prospect through outbound activity, networking, referrals and partnerships
  • Understand customer technology environments, priorities, security risks and support needs
  • Maintain accurate CRM, pipeline and forecasting information
  • Attend client meetings and networking events across London
  • Complete a clear handover of new customers following a successful sale

Key Requirements of the IT Business Development Manager:

  • Proven new business sales success within technology, IT services, telecoms, cybersecurity or a related market
  • MSP sales experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of managed IT, Microsoft 365, Azure, cybersecurity, backup, networking, connectivity or hosted telephony
  • Ability to explain technical services to business owners and senior decision-makers
