VIQU has partnered with a leading engineering organisation who are seeking an experienced Panel Wirer to join their Assembly & Test team in Staffordshire. This Panel Wirer role is a hands-on, workshop-based position, focused on assembling and wiring control panels across complex industrial environments. As a Panel Wirer, you will work from schematics and specifications, ensuring high-quality builds while supporting production deadlines and quality processes. This Panel Wirer position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and confident working both independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels using schematic drawings and specifications
  • Complete assembly record cards to ensure full traceability
  • Carry out mechanical assembly of cubicles, frameworks, and sub-assemblies
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and support rework when required
  • Update issue logs and liaise directly with design engineers
  • Support production bay leadership when required
  • Work flexibly to meet project deadlines

Key Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in electrical control panel wiring
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings
