VIQU has partnered with a major organisation operating a high-traffice eCommerce platform used by millions of customers worldwide.
We're looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join a quality-focused engineering team responsible for delivering responsive, high-performing customer-facing applications. Working within an Agile environment, you'll help shape modern web experiences using React, TypeScript and Node.js whilst contributing to the ongoing evolution of a large-scale digital platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, test and maintain responsive user interfaces.
- Develop clean, modular and maintainable code using React, TypeScript, Node.js and Material UI.
- Collaborate with developers, delivery colleagues and stakeholders.
- Apply UI performance and responsive design best practices.
- Investigate defects and support continuous improvement.
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota during peak trading periods.
Key Requirements
- Commercial React and TypeScript experience.
- Practical Node.js experience.
- Experience building responsive websites.
- Strong understanding of UI performance best practices.
- Clean, maintainable coding practices.
- Excellent analytical and collaborative skills.
