Product Security Manager – 6-9-month contract – London (Hybrid)
My client is seeking a Product Security Manager to protect a diverse range of technology systems from cyber threats.
The Product Security Manager should be capable of supporting end-to-end development across multiple technologies. You will engage at the early design stages to ensure that security is being considered and supported through development to make sure the final product is compliant and robust.
In this role, you’ll work across cloud services, business applications, and core infrastructure, ensuring security is seamlessly integrated into the design and development of critical systems. You’ll collaborate closely with IT, cloud, and engineering teams to implement security solutions for low-latency financial systems, cloud platforms, and hybrid infrastructures running Windows and Linux environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) with best practices in Python, C++, Rust, Go, Kotlin/Java.
- Integrate security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, etc.) into CI/CD pipelines for proactive threat detection.
- Implement security controls across trading infrastructure, cloud services, and business applications.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, and on-prem infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, DevSecOps, and CI/CD security integration.
- Lead threat modelling, vulnerability assessments, and security code reviews to embed security at every stage of development.
- Work alongside product and engineering teams to integrate security into system design and development.
- Provide mentorship and training to engineering teams on security best practices.
- Conduct vendor security reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Identify security risks and develop mitigation strategies in a high-stakes, fast-moving environment.
This Product Security Manager is required to work onsite in Central London, 3 days a week.
