VIQU have partnered with a leading organisation who are looking to employ a Power Platform Developer to help support and deliver a range of Microsoft Power Platform systems. The ideal candidate will hold experience within a Power Apps development role, helping to implement Power Platforms into an organisation, be able to work well in a team of software developers, and work at a fast pace. This role requires broad experience across Power Platform development, including Power Pages, Dataverse, Power Apps and Power Automate.
Duties of the Power Platform Developer:
- Establish requirements for new Power Platform solutions and enhancements.
- Design, develop and deploy Power Platform services, ensuring adherence to governance.
- Define team workload.
- Mentor and train team members/colleagues on the Power Platforms.
- Guide users and other stakeholders on the most effective way to solve business problems when developing bespoke software applications.
- Implement software, preventing disruption to service users.
- Take part in user acceptance testing for system implementation, identifying bugs in the new solutions and implementing changes when required.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft Power Platform developments with the confidence to make decisions relating to the area of expertise.
Requirements of the Power Platform Developer:
- Skilled in the development of digital solutions using a range of Microsoft Power Platform technologies and services (Power Pages, SharePoint, Microsoft Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Experience of working in an agile development environment.
- Experience of business process testing.
- Ability to define and document project phases, as well as working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team and communicate effectively both individually and to groups.
