Job Description
M365 Engineer – 3-month contract – Fully Remote
My Customer is looking for a skilled M365 Engineer to provide support in addressing a backlog of EUC-related tasks. This work will play a key role in accelerating both ongoing and future projects within the Microsoft 365 (M365) environment.
This role is Fully Remote for the duration of the 3-month contract.
Key Responsibilities for the M365 Engineer
You will be expected to carry out a variety of tasks across their M365 ecosystem, including:
- Microsoft Intune Administration:
- Implementing and modifying policies for device compliance and configuration
- Managing Conditional Access and remote access settings
- Adding software packages to Intune, testing and releasing them across the estate
- User and Group Administration:
- Creating and maintaining security and mail-enabled groups
- Populating and managing group memberships
- Exchange Online:
- Configuring secure email
- Setting up and managing mail-enabled groups
- Privileged Identity Management (PIM):
- Assisting in the creation and management of PIM-enabled groups
- EUC Solution Development:
- Designing and deploying tailored solutions for specific user roles
- Supporting the rollout of any agreed solutions
- Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS):
- Configuring MCAS settings, including handling application and/or user exemptions
Experience required from the M365 Engineer:
- Proven experience in Microsoft 365 administration, particularly with Intune and Azure AD
- Good understanding of Conditional Access, Exchange Online, and MCAS
- Hands-on experience with PIM and group management
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
- Clear, methodical documentation and communication skills
This M365 Engineer role is Fully Remote for the duration of the 3-month contract.
