We’re hiring a Material Planner to join a leading systems integration company delivering high-impact projects across energy, renewables, water and manufacturing. This is a permanent role based in Staffordshire, ideal for someone who thrives on keeping production running smoothly by ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time.
As a Material Planner, you’ll play a critical part in supporting the production team with materials forecasting, stock management and supply chain coordination. Key Responsibilities
Work with production and project teams to plan and control materials for multiple projects
Use MRP systems to forecast component requirements and balance supply with demand
Maintain accurate stock levels, lead times and order quantities to support production schedules
Support stores and production teams to ensure material control and traceability
Prepare management reports to give visibility on material planning performance
Key Requirements
Experience in a Material Planner, Production Planner or similar supply chain role
Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems and strong Excel skills
Organised and methodical, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of electrical components or an electrical background is desirable
