VIQU have partnered with an organisation who are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to help establish the core Azure and DevOps foundations required to take internal AI and software proof-of-concepts into controlled production. The successful Senior Azure DevOps Engineer will work closely with an internal AI/software development team and IT, to design and build a secure, scalable, and production-ready Azure platform.
Role responsibilities:
- Design and implement a greenfield Azure platform to support AI and software development workloads
- Establish and formalise production-ready DevOps practices, including Azure DevOps pipelines and deployment standards
- Define and implement best practice for:
- CI/CD
- Infrastructure as Code
- Environment separation (sandbox, dev, test, prod)
- Security, identity, and governance guardrails
Key skills and experience required:
- Hands-on expertise designing and building Azure infrastructure and DevOps frameworks
- Proven experience with:
- Azure DevOps (pipelines, environments, automation)
- Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
- Multi-environment Azure platforms
