VIQU has partnered with a leading supply chain company looking for a Data Engineering Product Owner to help shape and drive the future of their data platform. This is a hybrid role, combining stakeholder engagement, product direction, and technical oversight – ideal for someone who understands data engineering but can also take a broader product-led view to deliver tangible business value.

You’ll be working closely with both business and technical teams – leading conversations, defining and prioritising platform features, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions. You’ll play a key part in helping the business get the most from their investment in modern data technologies.

Key Responsibilities of the Data Engineering Product Owner:

  • Act as an SME for the data engineering domain, particularly across cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure).
  • Own the product roadmap for the data engineering space – identifying, shaping and prioritising features to deliver real business value.
  • Drive delivery of data platform capabilities, ensuring alignment with engineering best practices and technical strategy.
  • Guide engineering teams on best practice, methodologies, and solution design.
  • Lead implementation of data solutions, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
