They are seeking skilled Electrical Engineers to join their Energy team, specialising in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (E, C & I) design and implementation. The role entails designing electrical and control systems, particularly focusing on PLC based systems for thermal and hydro power generation. As the Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities include conducting site surveys, creating system designs, producing documentation, and providing support during site acceptance testing. The successful Electrical Engineer will possess expertise in control systems, field cabling systems, and control panel design, along with relevant education and proficiency in software such as Word, Autocad, and Excel. It is also desirable for the Electrical Engineer to have familiarity with specific control system platforms, site installation experience, knowledge of wiring regulations, and awareness of safety regulations. Essential Skills of the Electrical Engineer: – Competency in control panel design incorporating PLCs – Experience in control systems within the energy market – Competency in field cabling systems including surveying and route identification – Relevant education to at least degree level or HND with additional experience – Computer literacy with Word, Autocad, and Excel – Methodical approach to project interpretation and delivery – Understanding of Full Project Lifecycle – Hold a current full driving licence (UK or be able to easily convert to full UK) – Willingness to undergo a basic disclosure Scotland check.
