Power Platform Analyst (Dataverse & Reporting) – Contract – Remote / CardiffVIQU have partnered with an NHS organisation seeking a Power Platform Analyst to support the delivery of reporting solutions across a digital platform built on Microsoft Dataverse and Model-Driven Apps.The successful Power Platform Analyst will focus primarily on native Model-Driven App and Dataverse reporting, including operational, validation and workflow-supporting reporting within the application itself. Alongside this, you will utilise Power BI and Microsoft Fabric where reporting requirements justify a more advanced analytical approach, helping to deliver a scalable and governed reporting capability across the platform.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and optimise reporting solutions within Model-Driven Apps and Dataverse environmentsBuild and maintain native operational reporting using Dataverse views, lists, filters and security-aware reporting approachesDevelop reporting solutions using FetchXML and other Dataverse reporting capabilitiesSupport validation, operational and workflow-driven reporting requirements within business applicationsAssess reporting requirements and determine whether they are best delivered natively within the application or through Power BIDevelop and optimise Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models where analytical reporting is requiredSupport reporting governance, security, performance optimisation and embedded reporting approaches across the platformKey Skills & Experience RequiredStrong hands-on experience as a Power Platform Analyst with Model-Driven Apps and Dataverse reporting expertiseExperience developing native operational reporting using Dataverse views, filters and reporting componentsExperience working with FetchXML and Dataverse data structuresProven understanding of operational reporting requirements within application environmentsAbility to differentiate between reporting requirements that should remain within Model-Driven Apps and those better suited to Power BIStrong Power BI experience, including data modelling, DAX and report optimisationExperience working with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI Embedded, Dataverse and wider Power Platform technologiesContract OverviewRole: Power Platform Analyst (Dataverse & Reporting)Duration: Running till March 2027IR35: Inside IR35Rate: 325 per dayLocation: Remote / CardiffApply now to speak with VIQU IT in confidence.
